What you need

slice bacon

cup chicken broth

cup milk

tsp black pepper

tbsp unsalted butter
lb potato

tsp salt

tsp garlic powder

cup green onion

cup shredded cheddar

tsp paprika
Instructions
1. Dice bacon into small pieces and cook in a pot over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon from pot and set aside. 2. Add chopped celery and chopped onion to the same pot with bacon grease and cook until softened. 3. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and stir to combine. 4. Add milk and chicken broth. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. 5. Add diced potatoes and cover the pot, let them boil for 20 minutes. 6. Using a blender, blend half of the soup until smooth. (Optional) 7. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted. 8. Serve and top with cooked bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions.
