Steak Tartare

Steak tartare is a meat dish made from raw ground beef or horse meat. It is often served with onions, capers, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and other seasonings, typically presented to the diner separately, to be added for taste. It's often served with a raw egg yolk on top of the dish and potato chips on the side.

What you need

tsp dijon mustard

dash worcestershire sauce

pinch pepper

bunch fresh parsley

pinch salt

oz beef

tbsp capers

bunch fresh chives
Instructions
1. Thinly slice potatoes using a mandolin slicer. 2. Soak the sliced potatoes in ice water for about 20 minutes. 3. Pat the potato slices dry using a paper towel. 4. Deep fry the potato slices until golden brown. 5. Season with salt. 6. Finely chop the shallot. 7. Finely chop the cornichons. 8. Finely chop the capers. 9. Finely chop the parsley. 10. Finely chop the beef. 11. Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. 12. In a bowl or plate, mix all the ingredients together (except the egg yolks and potato chips): ground beef, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, chopped shallot, chopped cornichons, chopped capers, chopped parsley. 13. With the help of a cooking ring, arrange the mixed ingredients on a plate. 14. Place the egg yolk on top of the dish. 15. Garnish with some chives and serve with potato chips.
