What you need

tbsp cornichons

can beer

cup red onion

cup mayonnaise

pinch pepper

tbsp fresh dill

cup flour

pinch salt

tbsp capers
tbsp lemon zest

tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper. 2. Open and pour a can of beer into the flour mixture. 3. Whisk all ingredients until a batter forms. 4. In another large bowl, prepare tartar sauce by mixing mayonnaise, capers, cornichons, red onions, fresh dill, lemon zest and lemon juice. 5. Dip the cod fillets into the batter and deep fry until golden brown. 6. Cut and deep fry potatoes until golden brown. 7. Season fried potatoes with salt. 8. Serve fish, chips, tartar sauce and a few slices of lemon.
